Module 4 explores the notions of field and frame - using perspective images and isometric notations to illustrate a Marco Polo story. The use of frame - spatial and temporary bounding a set of interactive messages, created an objective persective image. Field enabled a loose arrangement within a space while still creating a cohesive piece, thus forming the subjective isometric notational representation of the story.

tThroughout the module it was important to consider the links between the isometric and the perspectives. There had to be undoubtable relationship to ensure there was coheive representation of the story. Likewise, it was essential to consider the dynamics of emotions, movement and passage of time so that these were represented with an equal sense of intensity across both forms of representation. This was achieved through variation in line weight to illustrate depth as well as texture and shading to evoke a sense of darkness.

This module required a detailed knowledge and intergration of Rhino, Adobe illustrator CC and Adobe Photoshop CC. By moving across all three softwares an understanding of the abilites of each assisted with the efficiency of the process. Developing skills in Photoshop CC specifically helped create realistic and detailed perspective designs.

This module enabled an amalgarnation of all taught digital media throughout the semester, reinforcing their individual qualities and how they can be used in tandem to produce a finished product.
